Slovenčina– Visit of the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Kingdom of Norway to the Slovak Republic H. E. Terje Theodor Nervik and Norwegian guests at the House of Arts Fatra in Žilina on Wednesday 15 June 2022.
– The current status of the DUF – “Let’s turn over a new leaf” restoration project was presented by the General Manager of the Slovak Sinfonietta Žilina Karel Hampl.
– Vladimír Šalaga, former director of the Slovak Sinfonietta Žilina, informed about the establishment of the Slovak Sinfonietta Žilina and its artistic activities.
– Part of the presentation of the project of restoration and premises of the building was also a musical presentation of the chamber ensemble of the Slovak Sinfonietta Žilina – Suchoň Quintet (Vladimír Sýkora – flute, Mário Šebeň – oboe, Bibiána Bieniková – clarinet and artistic direction, Ida Chovanová – bassoon, Nazar Spas – french horn) with the works of the Slovak composer Eugen Suchoň and the Norwegian composer Edvard Hagerup Grieg.
